Fishing Facts

The Boats

You can fish out of a 16' flats skiff with a new 90 HP Suzuki ( one or two anglers in the skiff ) or fish out of a 23' Parker powered with a new 250 HP Suzuki ( up to 4 anglers in the Parker boat.)

Rods and Reels

I have top of the line equipment (fly–spin–cast) that is supplied at no additional cost with all trips ... but you are welcome to bring your own gear.

Flys – Lures – Bait

All flys, lures and bait are supplied free with all trips.

Lunch and Drinks

In the Keys it is customary to supply your own lunch and beverage, a cooler with ice is supplied daily. If this presents a problem for anyone, other arrangements can be made ahead of time.

Sun Block

Make sure you bring sun block. With the wind in the Keys you won't feel the burn happening and a bad sunburn can ruin your trip.

Rain Gear

It's a good idea to bring some rain gear if you have it (just in case) Capt. Lenny keeps some extra loaner rain jackets.

Sun Glasses

Polarized sun glasses are a must. Brown or amber lens work best on the flats and shallow water, any color lens is fine for the deeper water. Capt. Lenny is a pro-staff guide for Costa Del Mar sunglasses and has some great loaner glasses for anyone to use.
